What is CATastrophe?
CATastrophe is a 2-6 player board game as unpredictable as cats themselves, featuring iconic cats from around the world!
Gameplay takes approximately 30-45 minutes and is best suited for ages 10+ (although we have had children as young as 6 play with adult guidance).
I missed the Kickstarter. Can I still order the game?

When will I get my game from the Kickstarter campaign?
Kickstarter backer’s games were delivered in November/December 2022. If your order never arrived, email us at team@catastrophenation.com for resolution.
What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a funding platform for creators to ask for the support of potential backers. The crowd gets to vote with their wallet on whether or not a product is worthy of being produced and brought to market.
Launching on Kickstarter allowed us to create something we would not have been able to create without the help and support of backers!
Unlike a traditional retail store, Kickstarter products haven’t been made yet. Every project creator sets their project's funding goal and deadline. If people like the project, they can pledge money to make it happen. In exchange for their pledge, backers will receive a reward. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, all backers' credit cards are charged when the time expires, and rewards are then fulfilled. If the project falls short, no one is charged. If a project is successfully funded, Kickstarter applies a 5% fee to the funds collected. Project creators keep 100% ownership of their work. Does the sale of the game benefit animal rescues or animals in need?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform, and it is against their policies to use any of the funds raised on their platform towards any charities or donations. However, we (Josh & Abi) have personally committed to donate 50 cents for each game copy backed (sold) on Kickstarter to Lil BUB's Big Fund (these donations are from our own personal funds and are not related to the funds we raise on Kickstarter). We are passionate and dedicated to continue making donations to benefit cats and other animals in need.
How many famous cats are featured in CATastrophe?
There are 20 famous cat influencers featured on 18 unique Power Cat cards and 1 character card.
Do you have the licensing rights to use the famous cats you have featured in CATastrophe?
Yes, we have a signed legal agreement with the owner of every real cat featured in CATastrophe: A Game of 9 Lives.
How can I get my cat featured in the game?
We have already pre-selected the cats we will be working with for this edition of the game. However, we do have plans to make more games in this "cat universe" and feature new cats in those games.
